'Cish Cash goes Baile Funk!' is the 7th episode of our own concept, Cish Cash. It started off early 2007 at club Suite 16 and got noticed by Ghent's infamous Culture Club. This time the upper room)is Ultravid's playground and, by the looks of the guest-dj, that playground will be a lot of fun! Daniel Haaksman, the European Don of Baile Funk and boss of Man Recordings is headlining on the 3rd of May. He'll deliver a blend of authentic and nu-baile funk, fidget and wonky house. Baile Funk (or Carioca Funk) has its roots in the Brazilian Favela's and the sound has spread around the globe with names like Bonde Do Role, M.I.A., MC Gringo, CSS, Dj Sandrihno,... Baile Funk basically consists of a typical beat, cheap (but irresistable) sampled vocals, riffs and horns and percussion like a riot gun on full automatic. This saturday will be a Culture Club Resident Night with a Cish Cash treat, featuring Ultravid, Cedric Inglesos and special guest Daniel Haaksman (Man Rec., Berlin). Offering you the new baile vibe. Jude Sebastian is the hidden third man writing, producing and engineering for Koma and Bones, The Company, Albino Allstars and a few more pseudonyms to shady to mention. Once teamed up with Koma and Bones (which started as a side project thats the reason the name isn't Koma, Bones and Sebastian!) things went ballistic. Jude Sebastian got the chance to remix New Order, Arthur Baker, Moose T, Express 2 e.t.c. featuring on a 360 game.
This track is already played by DJ's like the Loose Cannons , Busy P. etc.. and IMHO.. It's a floorfiller..

Schwarzkopf is the latest artist project for Michael Woods AKA Accadia, M1, Mike Hunt, Playback, Praetorian and Warrior; here he delivers his latest project through Cayenne Recordings. His discogs page quite rightfully names Michael as one of the UK’s most popular producers having remixed everyone from Ian Van Dahl to Sonique to Lio and Energy 52, Michael has scored two chart hits under his Warrior guise, once with his self titled track which hit No.19 and secondly with Voodoo which also make an impact into the UK Top 40 in 2000.
Dancing In The Dark features the Nina Simone-esque vocals of Stacey Charles and sees Michael make a firm smash back into the psyche of UK club land with this massive club track with unashamed cross over potential.

Coming out march 24th, the Home 0207 EP not only contains another freaky Speaker Junk remix but also the first official remixes by our good friends Cedric and Didier from Hermanos Inglesos. We give their second remix which features in Plastic Operator's live sets ! Using the infamous Arp 2006 and EMS-synth the brothers created a bassline-heavy remix which was mastered by the same guy who mastered Daft Punk's 'Robot Rock'.
I seriously doubt the fact that this is just 'some new dude' remixing guys like The Black Ghosts, Dan le Sac vs Scroobius Pip, Armand van Helden etc..
