Kanye thinks D.A.N.C.E. video is genius, W.A.Y.F. still sucks
And now for some pop trivia. I bet it has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that he was recently allowed to "lend" a Daft Punk sample, but Kanye West is clearly in awe of the D.A.N.C.E. video (and rightfully so!), calling it "genius" and even claiming he wouldn't mind losing to Justice this year in the Video of the Year category at the MTV Video Music Awards on September 9th 2007.But that what doesn't kill him, only makes him a whiner as he still feels robbed because of that MTV EMA 2006 outcome. Get over it, Kanye!

He still doesn't get the awesomeness of the first Justice video? Someone should show him Fatboy Slim - Praise You... also a cheap video, but it's genius!
I spoke to So-Me from Ed Banger when he was in town a couple weeks ago (Los Angeles). So-Me is the director of the D.A.N.C.E. video and the graphic designer for all the Ed Banger stuff (if you didnt already know). He DJ'd at Steve Aoki's Cinespace weekly and Kanye showed up to hang out for a bit. When I asked him about that he told me that he was actually in town working on directing the new Kanye West video.
