Would you like a box of chocolate?
Dragonette is made up of Canadian singer Martina Sorbara, her husband Dan Kurtz, Joel Stouffer and Will Stapleton. Martina is a successful singer-songwriter in Canada, and Dan Kurtz a member of the popular livetronica trio The New Deal. All of the band members, with the exception of Will Stapleton (born in London), are from Toronto, but now they all live in West London.The band have just completed their debut album Galore, will be released in July. It contains many of the songs featured on the Dragonette EP, most of which have been rerecorded and reworked. "Martina Bang" also sang on the 2006 Basement Jaxx single, "Take Me Back to Your House" which she also co-wrote and appears in the video for.
As blogged before, Midnight Juggernauts remix of "I Get Around" is provided on the Kitsuné Maison 4 Compilation. This one, "Take it Like a Man" is their next single containing remixes by Alan Braxe and Fred Falke , Felix Cartal and... Kissy Sell Out!
IMHO, This is the best remix Kissy ever did. At this moment, I've listened this track about 30 times and still.. that break.. Amazing. F#cking amazing.
